Many digital tools enable you and (your) students to interact or work on tasks together, whether in online teaching or in the lecture hall. You can also foster interaction through your choice of methods, such as the [AVIVA scheme](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/articles/didactics/13-engaging-students-aviva/) or the [jigsaw method (Gruppenpuzzle)](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/articles/didactics/08-group-puzzle/).

## Interactive exercises

The TeachCenter offers many task types for creating interactive exercises for students; see the page [Digital Materials and TeachCenter Activities](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/guides/topics/digital-materials/). A special mention goes to [H5P](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/guides/h5p-tc-guide/), which offers a whole package of interactive exercises such as interactive videos.

Even large courses such as lectures can include interactive exercises. Use, for example, [audience response systems](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/articles/didactics/03-audience-response-systems/) such as [Feedbackr](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/articles/tools/01-feedbackr/) or Slido, which is integrated into Webex, for polls and votes.

## Working on tasks together

Video conferencing tools such as [Webex](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/guides/webex-teachers/) and [BigBlueButton](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/guides/bigbluebutton-teachers-guide/) offer several ways of working on tasks or documents together. You can create breakout rooms, use a shared whiteboard or run polls.

If you need digital chat rooms, you can use [TU Graz chat](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/articles/tools/05-tu-graz-chat/) or **Webex Teams**.

For file storage and collaborative work on documents, the [TU Graz cloud](https://cloud.tugraz.at) is available to all staff and students.

On the **ePortfolio platform** [Mahara](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/articles/tools/07-mahara/) you can create and share portfolios.

## Video conferencing

For video conferences and online courses, two tools are available: [Webex](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/guides/webex-teachers/) and [BigBlueButton](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/guides/bigbluebutton-teachers-guide/). Webex is used in the browser or via an app, while BigBlueButton can be used directly from a TeachCenter course.

Some lecture halls and seminar rooms are equipped with a [Webex video conferencing system](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/guides/video-conferencing-system-guide/) that you can use for [hybrid teaching](https://telucation.tugraz.at/en/articles/didactics/05-hybrid-teaching-with-video-conferencing-systems/).
