What is the Digital Attendance List?
The digital attendance list (DAL) is used to record attendance in courses with an online tool. Students can check in and out on their own using QR codes. Teachers receive an overview of who was present.
Detailed instructions on how to use the digital attendance list can be found at TELucation.tugraz.at.
Who can access the Digital Attendance List?
Teachers can see all courses for which they are listed as teachers in TUGRAZonline. Students can view all courses for which they are enrolled in TUGRAZonline.
Access for others, such as teaching assistants or administrative staff, is not provided.
How do I create courses and time slots as a teacher?
There is no need to manually create courses or time slots. All courses and time slots are imported from TUGRAZonline.
How do I mark my attendance as a student?
During the course, teachers will display a QR code for check-in and check-out, which must be scanned.
Note: To record attendance, students must be logged in with their TU Graz account. It is best to do this before scanning the code, as the QR code refreshes regularly at short intervals.
I had issues scanning the code as a student, but I was present. Is there a way to mark me as present later on?
Yes, you have the option to submit an attendance request with an explanation after the session. Teachers can then approve or deny it.
