In this podcast, Georg Rudelstorfer, final nominee for the Prize for Excellence in Teaching, talks about his course on bioethanol refinement, in which students learn about the steps in process engineering using distilling and beer brewing processes and can directly apply in practice what they learned. He also talks about challenges in his own teaching as a young teacher shortly after graduation and how the status of university teaching can be improved. Moreover, Georg Rudelstorfer gives insights into his experiences abroad and his plans for the future.
