#26 – Lisa Mittischek: Diversity and gender topics based on research and for practical application

In this podcast, Lisa Mittischek (Staff Unit for Equity, Youth, and Care – Gender, Diversity, and Equity Unit) talks about her work at Graz University of Technology and in the UNITE network, where she works on diversity and equity issues at the European level. She explains how gender and diversity issues can be integrated into teaching in a research-based manner that informs practical application. She shares strategies for inclusive teaching design. She also addresses current challenges such as the use of AI in teaching and shows how teachers can avoid exclusion and create a framework in which all students can participate by consciously reflecting on their “hidden curriculum.”
