In this podcast, Daniel Fruhwirt from the Institute for Thermodynamics and Sustainable Propulsion Systems talks about his passion for international university teaching. He reports on how he has developed several innovative courses on traffic safety and sustainability as part of the Unite! network together with partner universities in Turin, Barcelona, Wrocław, Darmstadt, and Stockholm. Daniel explains why project-based, interdisciplinary work in small, international groups prepares students well for the professional world and describes how his hybrid format imparts not only specialist knowledge but also intercultural soft skills. He also gives practical tips for teachers who want to start international teaching projects and provides an outlook on upcoming projects.
